Hospice Care Plus will offer two opportunities to attend a Shadowbox Memorial Workshop at our Compassionate Care Center (350 Isaacs Lane, Richmond). The shadowbox workshop will be offered at two separate times on Thursday, May 21, 2026. Workshop one will take place at 10a.m. and workshop 2 will be offered at 6p.m.

Participants will create a personalized shadowbox in memory of a loved one. All supplies are provided, and no previous experience is necessary. We encourage you to bring photos, trinkets and any other items you'd like to include in your loved one's shadowbox memorial.

We ask that you pre-register before attending. To do so, please complete the form below. Denise McKinney, our Grief Support Coordinator, will contact you to confirm your registration and answer any questions. If you prefer to register by phone, contact Denise at [email protected] or 859-986-1500.

We also offer a weekly Grief Support Gathering at our Compassionate Care Center, grief support workshops in multiple locations throughout the year, an annual remembrance ceremony, and one-on-one support services. Visit our website to learn more.

Note: Although the pre-registration form asks if your loved one was cared for by our organization, this workshop is open to the community at large.
