You're Invited!

Join us for Rockin' Derby Eve, our annual Derby Eve benefit and Madison County's longest-running Derby Eve party. Presented by Hospice Care Plus, all proceeds support care for patients and families.

This year's event will take place on Friday, May 3, at Richardson Hall (Fair Barn) at the Madison County Fairgrounds. Details are available on our website. Be sure to follow the Facebook event page for update and additional information.

Reservations are $100 per guest and include:

• Hors d’oeuvres
• Complimentary Kentucky Oaks Lily cocktail, wine, and beer
• A bourbon and whiskey cash bar*
• A 4-course meal
• Live concert featuring Rock of Ages, an 80's tribute band
• Dance floor
• Live and silent auctions
• Photo booth, games, favors and more
• Professional photographers will be on hand to take arrival photos of all guests, and they will be available for you to share on social media after the event.
• What to wear? Guests are encouraged to dress in their Derby best or in their favorite concert-going attire for a night of rock-and-roll fun!

Not only is Rockin' Derby Eve a great party, it has built and funded incredible projects over its 20-plus years. Did you know . . . 

• The Derby Eve benefit party began as Spring Thing in the early 2000s. It raised start-up funds to help build the Compassionate Care Center.
• For the first few years, the event took place in the homes of planning committee members.
• In the late 2000s, the local planning committee transferred the event to Hospice Care Plus, who hosted it at what is now Chenault Vineyards, EKU's Keen Johnson Ballroom, Battlefield Memorial Park, and more.
• The event has had many names: Spring Thing, The Run for the Roses Derby Eve Benefit, the Gala on Derby Eve, and the Bourbon, Boots & BBQ Derby Eve Benefit. And now, of course, Rockin' Derby Eve!
• What has never changed: every penny raised goes directly to funding care and services for patients and families. These funds make it possible for us to continue our promise to care for all, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.

*All guests must be age 21 and older. IDs will be checked at bar.
